Sac Queens—

This week, I want to start with you. This is our 5th issue—really the 4th because the first one was more of a proof of concept—and there are already 203 of you!

And 72% of you have been opening up this email every week which is frankly ridiculous because the average email open rate is more like 30%. And, no one has unsubscribed!

Thank you for being here! And for being an original Sac Queen.

One personal note. A few weeks ago Thomas and I both turned a year older and celebrated our birthdays at EDC. Somewhere around 3 AM, slightly sweaty, deep in the Circuit Grounds stage, while sipping watery Liquid IV from my camelback, it hit me how great it is to be alive and in the moment.

Here is what that experience left me with, and I will keep it short.

Age is just a number (21 and 22 for anyone whose curious). It is never too late to start the thing, say the thing, or become the person you want to be. Life is precious and tomorrow is not promised, so take the trip, make the move, be your authentic self, and don’t put up with a situation that you have the power to change.
