Queer-Owned This Week

Anchor & Tree Coffee Roasting Co.

Sacramento's most eco-conscious cup is also one of its queerest. Anchor & Tree is the LGBTQ-owned roaster that skipped propane entirely, running Sac's first zero-emissions electric roaster out of 1412 16th Street in Midtown. The beans are single-origin and ethically sourced, the varietals get nerdy in the best way (anaerobic, co-fermentations, the works), and the cafe is built as an inclusive space that means it. Grab a pour in the shop, subscribe for a bag on repeat, or roast your own. Open daily. Find them at anchorandtreecoffee.com or @anchorandtreecoffeeroastingco.
